On ROW 14, low risk keeps the board flat — a 0.4x centre rising to a 25x edge — while high risk hollows out the middle to 0.2x and pushes the edge to 400x, a sixteen-fold jump in ceiling bought entirely with a deeper dry zone. Chicken Plinko caps at the same 1,000x with a near-identical 96.14% but offers no risk switch at all, so JDB's three-step LOW/MEDIUM/HIGH selector is the real point of difference between them. The row count compounds this: 12, 14 or 16 rows change how steep the tail gets, and 16 rows on high is where the headline multiplier lives. Play low risk on 14 rows for a session that lasts; switch to high only when you are treating a drop as a lottery ticket.

Plinko JDB is a stripped-back board. There is no theme, no narrative, no character — pockets, a bet field, a ball-count selector and a risk switch. Next to Chicken Plinko's farm animation or Aztec Plinko's stonework, it looks like a spreadsheet, and JDB clearly did not intend otherwise.
In my demo session I ran 500 drops on HIGH risk at 14 rows with the ball count set to 3, and the distribution behaved exactly as a binomial board should: just over 320 of those drops landed in the central third and I reached an outer pocket 7 times. The award gates fired 11 times over that run.
The extra bet is where I hit a wall. The paytable published on this page does not state how the extra bet alters pocket multipliers or gate frequency, and without a maths sheet or server-seed access there is no way to derive it from play. Across 150 drops with the toggle on, gate frequency looked marginally higher — 5 gates against 3 across a matched block with it off — but the gap sits well inside the noise you would expect at that sample size: one session, not evidence, and I would not price the toggle on that basis.
